Grant Christensen, AgVenture Business Development Manager
(JOHNSTON, IOWA, June 14, 2021) – AgVenture, Inc., is pleased to announce that Grant Christensen has accepted the role of Regional Business Development Manager for the West, beginning June 14, 2021. Grant has spent the last ten years in various roles in sales, marketing, and management in the seed and crop protection businesses with Dow AgroSciences, Corteva Agriscience, and AgReliant Genetics.
“We are excited to have Grant join the AgVenture team to work with our locally-owned Independent Seed Companies in our western geography,” said Business Development and Sales Manager Glen Edwards. “Grant’s vast array of experience will be a key benefit to help increase sales within our network and as we seek out new points of sale to fit into our unique go-to-market strategy.”
Grant grew up in Manning, Iowa, and earned a degree in Agricultural Business, with minors in Agronomy and Entrepreneurship, from Iowa State University. He has a diverse employment background prior to joining the seed industry, including time with a large cattle ranch in western Iowa, Bank of America in Germany, and a large full-service retailer.
“I am excited to join the AgVenture team as we continue to bring the best genetics in the industry to our partners through this unique go-to-market strategy,” Grant said. “I look forward to supporting our Independent Seed Companies and helping them continue to achieve their goals as we work together to grow the AgVenture brand.”
Grant currently resides in Kansas City, where he enjoys outdoor activities, hiking, and traveling.
