(JOHNSTON, IOWA, November 1, 2020) – Ron Cornish has been named General Manager of AgVenture, Inc. Cornish has held many positions in crop protection and seeds over his 25-year career, including sales, marketing, sales management, and general management. He has served as Alfalfa Lead for Dairyland Seeds, as well as National Sales Manager and General Manager for Alforex Seeds. In a unique dual role, Cornish will continue leading Alforex Seeds as General Manger in addition to leading AgVenture; although Alforex and AgVenture will continue to operate as separate commercial entities and continue to execute their respective business plans.

Ron, his wife Debbie, and daughter Bree currently live in Dixon, California. Ron and Deb also have two sons in California, Sam and Teal, who are just beginning their careers. Ron grew up in South Central Minnesota and joined the family farming operation until he attended and graduated from Iowa State University with a double major in Agronomy and Ag Business. In his spare time Ron likes to go camping, hiking, gardening, and also enjoys spending time with family at the beach.
